Dear,
Mrs. Chinn

I think that BCS should have a football team for 6th 7th and 8th graders. The school has sponsored it but there weren't enough proud dads and a teacher suspended it. The kids would have a great time. Also the kids would have more friends because they would bond. They did not try hard enough to get enough proud dads.Every middle school should have a football team. It would be awesome to compete against other schools in Colorado. It would be just like high school football. We could have cheerleaders, a band play for us, and even announcers. Having a football team is just like having a basketball or volleyball team. It would be so much fun!

There used to be one but it got suspended. It is a law that girls and boys must have the same amount of sports. I think that we should try again because the kids would be happier. If you do it, Covington would be more popular and people would get to the NFL and be from Covington. Also that the other schools would make fun of us. What I think you should do, is try again. Have help this time.

When most middle school students enter their new building, they do not do so alone, but instead join with other pupils on a team. The process of teaming middle school students is a useful one that serves many purposes, leading many schools to adopt the practice as a way to help their students.

Physical activity is the most obvious benefit of sports participation. Children often spend too much time watching television or playing video games. But sports practices and games provide an opportunity for exercise that can help keep kids in shape and healthy. That's why BCS should have a football team.

People have to test how high you can jump, how fast you can run etc. You get to have soooooo mush fun. Here are some of the positions. Lets start with offense. Now You have to now about the Quarterback. He's the play maker for the offense.

He throws the ball to the wide receivers and he runs the ball if he's fast. Or he can hand the ball off to the half back or the full back. The half back is the guy that runs the ball to the sides up the middle or even blocks for the quarterback. Now the Full Back. He sometimes runs the ball but most of the time he blocks for the QB.

Now the Offensive line. The block the Defensive line so that the D-line cant sack the quarterback. Sacking the quarterback is when you tackle him behind the line of scrimmage. The O-Line also makes Gaps for the Half back or fullback to run. Now the Wide Receivers.

The wide receivers catch the ball or if the half back runs the ball to the outside they block the Corner Backs. the wide receivers have to run routes and listen to the quarterback when he says something. So do the other positions.  When they run the routes they have to trick the cornerbacks. Its really hard to do that.

Now the defense. Lets start with the defensive line. They try to get past the offensive line and sack the QB. Sacking the QB means that they lose yards and its harder for them to get a first down. They also try to stop the half back from running. The defensive line also stops the QB from running.

Now let me teach you about the linebackers. They can blitz they can jump high to pick the ball. they have to be able to jump really high. When they blitz they go up to the offensive line and try to sack the QB. When they don't blitz they cover the middle of the field.

Now the corner backs. They cover the wide receivers ad try to not make them catch a pass. sometimes they blitz but most of the time they cover the WRs. They have a hard job to do. Defense wins championships.

Last the safety's. They cover the back of the field. They have the hardest job of them all. They have to be fast. They have to jump high. They have to do a lot of stuff.

That's football for you.
